President & CEO of Texas Biomedical Research Institute
Larry S. Schlesinger, MD is President and CEO of Texas Biomedical Research Institute. He is an internationally recognized authority in infectious diseases. He earned a BA in Biology from Cornell University and MD from Rutgers Medical School. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan and clinical and research fellowships in Infectious Diseases at UCLA. He joined the faculty at the University of Iowa in 1991 where he served as Fellowship Director for the Division of Infectious Diseases and Associate Chair of the Department of Medicine.
Born and raised in San Antonio Diana graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Biology at St. Mary’s University. She started working in the San Antonio Independent School District two decades ago. Ms. Natividad has spent all her twenty teaching years as an eighth-grade science teacher at Longfellow Middle School. Throughout her career, Diana has sat on many committees both at campus and district levels, headed her department for a spell, was a TELA teacher leader, presented at several professional conferences, and recently she has acquired a Master Teacher position on her campus.
